This image was done with CINEMA 4D, CityEngine, Vue and Photoshop.

All buildings in low-poly was exported from CityEngine with UV and very basic textures to CINEMA 4D. Obviously, the textures were replaced so the rendering could be done in high resolution.
The sky was generated in Vue.
